Tips for High-Speed Mobile Phone Use

Before use, please follow these steps to ensure the normal operation and maintenance of the device:

Before starting the foot pedal switch, make sure the handpiece is installed to discharge residual gas and moisture from the tube, and check whether the discharge is normal.

Install the handpiece and bur as follows: a.  For latch-type (spiral) devices, secure the handpiece to the treatment table, install and tighten the bur, being careful to apply moderate force to avoid over-tightening.  b.  For push-button (cap-type) devices, install and remove the bur by pressing the button on the head of the handpiece. After releasing the button, the bur should be firmly clamped to ensure proper installation.

Start the foot pedal switch and adjust the water flow and air pressure to appropriate levels. The standard air pressure for high-speed handpieces should be maintained at 0.2-0.23Mpa。

Note: Do not step on the foot pedal switch before installing the bur to prevent damage to the clamping mechanism.

After use, please follow these maintenance guidelines:

Be careful and meticulous during use, avoiding rough handling or dropping the handpiece.

Use an up-and-down lifting motion during operation, avoiding lateral force.

Use a modified pen-holding technique to ensure stable operation and perform intermittent operations.

Replace the handpiece and bur in a timely manner according to the different tooth positions and cavity shapes to reduce wear on the bearings.

Use sharp burs and avoid using blunt burs to reduce damage to the handpiece and pain to the patient.

Regularly check whether the bur is loose to prevent bur ejection accidents.

Select the appropriate handpiece model according to clinical needs, such as a mini handpiece suitable for posterior tooth pulpotomy and a high-torque handpiece suitable for tooth preparation.

When facing a large amount of work, you can alternate between two handpieces to avoid overload and save replacement time.

If the handpiece core exhibits severe wobbling or movement, or in a water-deficient state, use is strictly prohibited.

Regularly check the air pressure and water pressure to ensure the handpiece is operating normally.

Cleaning:

After use, the handpiece should be cleaned immediately to prevent dirt from solidifying. Before removing the bur, use water spray to clean the working head, then use 75% alcohol to wipe it, or use a special fully automatic cleaning machine, the specific method depends on the actual situation of the clinic.

When removing the bur, just loosen the wrench 1/4 turn to avoid over-loosening and damaging the three-Petal Spring. Remove the bur in time after use, which helps the recovery of the handpiece bur clamping mechanism.

Maintenance and Lubrication:

Lubricating with a pneumatic oil spray can not only lubricate the handpiece, but also clean the bearings and impellers. The specific steps are as follows:

After removing the bur, wrap the head with paper and insert the nozzle of the oil spray can into the air inlet of the handpiece.

Make sure the oil spray can is used vertically, spraying each time for 2-3 seconds.

According to the number of holes in the handpiece, align the holes correctly and spray.

If using the oil dripping method, drip an appropriate amount of oil into the large hole, and then blow air intermittently with an air gun.

The use of industrial lubricating oil is strictly prohibited to prevent patient poisoning.

For handpieces that are not used for a long time, add enough oil, seal and store properly.

When using a low-speed handpiece, it is strictly forbidden to test the machine without installing a bur. It must be installed and fixed before testing the machine. When refueling, add it to the front half of the handpiece, and ventilate before use after refueling.
