The mini root canal length measuring instrument uses electronic apex location technology, and its working principle is based on the change of conductivity in the root canal. When a small measuring probe is inserted into the root canal and contacts the periapical tissue, the instrument can capture this subtle difference due to the different electrical resistance characteristics of the periapical tissue and the liquid in the root canal, and automatically calculate the working length of the root canal. This process does not require X-ray irradiation, greatly reducing the patient's radiation exposure.
