### I. Working Principle

 

The working principle of a dental curing light is mainly based on the curing effect of specific wavelengths of light emitted by the light source on dental restorative materials. Traditional curing lights mainly use halogen lamps as the light source, emitting full-spectrum light through the principle of light emission from heated objects. Then, a filter is used to filter out unnecessary infrared and ultraviolet light, finally outputting blue light for curing. Modern dental curing lights, especially LED curing lights, use light-emitting diodes as the light source, emitting light of a certain wavelength effective for dental restorative materials, usually high-energy short-wave blue light (wavelength between 420nm~480nm). These light rays are collected and output by the light guide element, causing the dental restorative material to cure rapidly under the action of radiant energy.

5. **Side Button for Purple Light Irradiation**: Pressing the side button emits purple light, which can detect caries and dental plaque.
