Technological Innovation: Solving the Three Major Challenges of Traditional Heating
Traditional wax knife heating relies on the open flame of an alcohol burner, which has three critical drawbacks: First, the flame’s temperature fluctuates by as much as ±50℃ due to environmental wind and alcohol purity, leading to overheating and smoking of the wax or uneven solidification—directly compromising the marginal fit of restorations. Second, operating with an open flame requires constant bending and adjustment; dental technicians bend over more than 200 times per day on average, a practice that can easily lead to occupational strain over time. Third, the combustion of alcohol releases volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which can accumulate to concentrations as high as 0.8 mg/m³ in enclosed workspaces, posing a serious threat to the health of operators.
The new Liangya product employs electromagnetic induction heating technology, generating eddy current thermal energy directly in the metal tip of the waxing blade via a high-frequency alternating magnetic field, achieving three major breakthroughs:
1. **0.1-second ultra-fast response**: It takes only 3 seconds from power-on to reach the operating temperature of 260℃—a 15-fold speedup compared to conventional methods.
